About us
Dramatize was formed in 2011, when the directors Karen and Jo recognised the need for more choice and a variety of provisions for adults with learning disabilities once they leave education. Since then Dramatize has grown from strength to strength and offers a wide range of activities and workshops that centres around providing purposeful opportunities and adventures for our students. As well as running day provisions Dramatize owns 2 Tea rooms in Shepperton and Woking providing meaningful work experience for our students!
Dramatize prides itself on its person-centred approach and the wide range of meaningful opportunities it provides for our students.
Dramatize follows the belief

We have been indoor skydiving, climbed the 02, rock climbing, skiing and many more!

We encourage our staff to further their own personal development in training within a variety of subjects to enrich our timetable and inspire our students.
All employees of Dramatize hold an enhanced DBS.
All employees complete an extensive induction training when joining Dramatize.
All employees complete the Care certificate as well as mandatory training in -
Data protection, Duty of candour, COSHH, Buccal midazolam, Fire warden, Autism awareness, Mental capacity act, Asthma, Equality and diversity, Epilepsy, Food Hygiene, First aid, Moving and handling and Safeguarding.Training is refreshed monthly and updated annually.

When looking for the ideal candidates to join the team at Dramatize, we seek individuals who embody the qualities of passion and dedication, as these are crucial for delivering high-quality care and support. Candidates should also bring a wealth of life experience which can enrich their role and the lives of those they support. We are currently recruiting for care workers to work Monday to Friday 8:45am to 4:15pm. The role includes supporting adults with learning disabilities.
We are based in Ashford recreation ground, TW151BX.

Job Description -Dramatize Tea Room provides and enables adults with learning disabilities the opportunity to gain work experience and training required to progress to paid employment; enabling everyone to take a full and active role in our community.
We are currently seeking a Tea Room Assistant/support worker to join our team who enjoys working in a lively, fun, caring and sometimes challenging environment, undertaking a variety of tasks with young adults with learning disabilities.The role is to support our students within their work experience to use and develop their skill set in all areas of the Tea room.
